Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. It is VueStarter's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across this website and the purchase and support flow.
We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we're collecting it and how it will be used.
What we collect
- Email address — collected by Stripe during checkout, used to send your receipt and to invite you as a collaborator on the private GitHub repository.
- GitHub username — required so we can add you as a collaborator on the VueStarter repository after purchase.
- Payment details — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with your email address and billing country.
- Support correspondence — any messages you send via email or GitHub issues are retained for the purpose of providing and improving support.
We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service, to keep purchase and tax records, or to comply with legal obligations. What data we store, we protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
Sharing
We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except:
- As required to operate the service (Stripe for payments, GitHub for repository access).
- Where required by law.
We act in the capacity of a data controller and a data processor with regard to the personal data processed through VueStarter and the services in terms of applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant.
External sites
Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us (for example, Stripe, GitHub, Supabase, Cloudflare). Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
Your choices
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services — for example, we cannot grant access to the private repository without a GitHub username.
Your continued use of our website and purchase of the Product will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, contact support@loqode.com.
This policy is effective as of 2026-04-13.
